I quite like Dawson. I think he would definetly add to the squad but there no way I wants keegan spending stupid money on him.
What are you thoughts on Michael Dawson ???Apparently it would be in the £4 million region.
To be honest unless Juande Ramos is going to buy some more defenders I cant see it happening. Woodgate is bound to be injured again soon for a long period and Ledley King is'nt shy of the treatment table either. Dawson is perfect cover for the Tottenham defence. Ok , he aint as good as either Woodgate or King in my opinion but he aint no jean Alain Boumsong or Titus Bramble either..

Yeah I agree. I like dawson but would not want to spend £4million on him. besides, we got to secure our premiership status before I start getting excited about possible transfer targets again.

id we have any ambition we need better players than Michael "freaking" Dawson.
We need to go out and get the best possible, tho by the sounds of it the 2 new lads we got in January could be the best along wih Steven Taylor in a few years.
I like Dawson but I could'nt see him forming a great partnership with Steven taylor for some reason. Personally id love to see a veteren come in to keep taylor right and continue to teach him the trade. A Sammi Hyppia would be nice but i read that he is signing a new deal with Liverpool so that does'nt look likely

Nothing new I dont think. I think the Express are just a little behind on the story lol. I just cant see Dawson coming to Newcastle. I think he will want to stay and fight for his place at Spurs
